Turmeric may help treat indigestion



Turmeric has herbal properties and also considers as an traditional medicine. The compounds contained in turmeric have the antioxidants, anti tumor, anti cancer, anti microbial and anti toxic role.


Addition to spices it also provides treating ulcers, lose weight, reducing nausea and relieves inflammation.


Plays a significant role in balancing hormone levels, control blood sugar and maintaining digestive health.


This article also talks about recent studies were done on 150 people and they found similar results with people taking turmeric (curcumin) and omeprazole (used to treat stomach and esophagus infections). And also combinations of two found similar treatment results.


In Southeast Asia, turmeric has been used for centuries to treat digestive problems. Beside treating inflammation, turmeric is sometimes used in the U.S. to help with depression, type 2 diabetes, viral infections, premenstrual syndrome, high cholesterol, Alzheimer’s, and other conditions. However, there is no good scientific evidence to support turmeric for most of those uses.
